Welcome to the ENGRAMMETRON's new Outreach Centre. Supporting and promoting outreach activities are important components of the research we are conducting here in the lab. I am pleased to introduce Kathryn (Kate) Patten as the lab's designated Outreach Coordinator.

Kate has recently completed her Ph.D. in the Faculty of Education at Simon Fraser University, specialising in Curriculum Theory and Implementation, focusing on neuropedagogy and the priority of emotion in cognitive development. Kate has 30 years of teaching experience, including elementary, secondary, and post-secondary; and she has conducted numerous workshops concerning the importance of emotion and neuroscience to education.
