Nicholas (Nick) Zaparyniuk
Research Assistant and PhD student in Educational Psychololgy
Nicholas is a third year PhD student in Educational Psychology with research
interests in Problem solving, Cognitive Development, and Self-Regulation in
Complex Environments. His research includes looking at the factors of
self-regulation in Educational Games, 3D Simulations, and Virtual Learning
Environments such as Second Life. Nicholas' role at ENGRAMMETRON is as Chief
Architect of the David Wheeler Math Island in Second Life and also as
researcher in Perception in 3D and Stereoscopic Environments.
